Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Saliva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, T Dawg! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saliva. Dawg misses the jab. Dawg throws a series of punches but Saliva avoids them all with ease. Dawg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dawg loads up on a big right hand but Saliva slips the punch. Dawg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dawg misses with a double jab.
Dawg stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dawg wants it to stay on the feet. Saliva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dawg.

T Dawg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dawg throws a series of punches but Saliva avoids them all with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saliva lunges at Dawg with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dawg's hand. Dawg misses with a double jab.
Saliva feints and as Dawg raises his hands in defense, Saliva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Saliva landing some decent shots from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dawg keeping moving, preventing Saliva from controlling successfully. Saliva wants to pass the guard but Dawg is keeping the position. Saliva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Saliva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Saliva passes Dawg's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Saliva seems to be looking for submissions.
Dawg looks gassed! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Saliva in particular looking to stall. Saliva wants to pass the guard but Dawg is defending well. Saliva is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Saliva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Saliva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dawg could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Saliva has cracked it and Dawg is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Saliva!
