Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elvis Presley!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Presley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Presley.

Williams shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Williams controlling the pace.
Williams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Presley's head.
Williams controlling the action here.

Presley is trying to stand back up but Williams is controlling him
Presley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Presley is trying to stand.
Williams not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Williams dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Presley. That did some damage!
Presley looks gassed!
Williams throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Williams thumps Presley with a low kick.

Williams scores with a takedown into Presley's guard.
Williams stays in close to Presley's body and controls the position.
Williams seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Presley for as long as he can get away with.

Eli Williams has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Presley closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Elvis Presley has been cut.
Elvis Presley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams throws out a powerful jab.
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Presley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Presley pushes Williams up against the cage in a clinch.

Presley lands a good knee to the midsection. Williams won't want to take too many of those.
Presley lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Williams backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Williams tries to break free but Presley pushes him back against the cage.
Presley lands a good knee to the midsection. Williams won't want to take too many of those.
Williams is looking to control Presley's arms but Presley gets an underhook and turns him. Now Williams has his back to the cage.
Williams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Presley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Presley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams.

Presley lands a left and a right that send Williams crashing to the mat, dazed. Presley thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Eli Williams has been cut.
Presley tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range.
Presley lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Presley tries to clinch there but Williams circles away.

Presley has Williams up against the cage in a clinch.

Williams gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Williams stops Presley from getting back to his feet.
Presley is refusing to be controlled, as Williams sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eli Williams will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Presley misses with the combination.
Presley wants to clinch.
Williams slips under a jab from Presley.
Williams connects with a jab.
A right-left combo lands from Williams.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams wants to clinch up but Presley keeps it at a distance.
Presley staying out of range there.
Williams misses with an uppercut.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Presley scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A big left from Williams misses.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Williams, as that shot connected.
Presley stuffs the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fight stays on the outside here - Presley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Presley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Presley clinches.

Presley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Presley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Williams lands with a right hand.
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Presley manages to avoid it.
Presley tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it.
Presley throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Williams counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Williams is looking to take a break and control but Presley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Presley tries to kick Williams off but Williams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Williams missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williams seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

We're going to have a standup here because Eli Williams wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Presley darts in trying to clinch
and Williams counters with a stiff right hand.

Williams gets the takedown into side control.
Williams throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Presley wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Presley is not content to let Williams control the position.
Williams looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Presley is avoiding damage well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Williams in side control, throwing shots but Presley defends.
Presley wants to get back to his feet but Williams drags him back down.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Presley keeps working.
Presley tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Williams connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Presley to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eli Williams dominated that second round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Presley circles away from the clinch attempt.

Williams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Presley avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams.
Williams stalling.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Presley is trying to stand back up but Williams is controlling him

Williams content to control rather than advance.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eli Williams wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Presley is looking to clinch.
Williams lands with a hook. Presley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Williams catches Presley with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Eli Williams is winning the standup battle so far.
Williams jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Presley misses with the combination.

Williams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Presley to the mat! Presley manages to get full guard.
Presley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Elvis Presley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Williams showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Eli Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

We're going to have a standup here because Eli Williams wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Presley can't keep his opponent in guard - Williams advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Presley wants to get back to his feet.
Williams is controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Williams is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Presley can do to turn this around?

And that's the end of the fight!
Eli Williams showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
