PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Canudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Luc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luc bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Luc is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Canudo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Luc manages to capitalize on a mistake by Canudo to take his back!

Luc is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Canudo with him. Canudo is trying to defend but Luc has an arm under the chin now! Canudo grimaces and is forced to tap out!
