Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KO Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sub Zero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kidd misses with an uppercut.
Zero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kidd was covering up waiting for the punch and Zero finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Zero drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kidd looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kidd looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kidd!
Kidd wants to stand but Zero is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zero is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zero manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Zero is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kidd!
Zero is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kidd can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Zero goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kidd is on top in guard.

Zero manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kidd manages to get himself to full guard.
Zero drops back looking for a leg! Kidd is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kidd manages to kick Zero off! Zero jumps back into Kidd's guard.
Zero wants to pass the guard but Kidd is keeping the position.
Zero thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Zero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kidd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kidd is trying to keep Zero in close.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Zero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kidd's guard.
Zero is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kidd doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zero.
Zero is working for a kimura but Kidd is defending it quite comfortably.
Zero is breathing heavily.

Kidd makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kidd.
Kidd lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zero!

Zero sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sub Zero dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kidd misses the shot to the body.
Kidd circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kidd throws a hook to the side of Zero's head but Zero sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kidd throws a right hand that Zero ducks under and follows up with a left that Zero also avoids with ease.
Kidd tries to close the distance and clinch but Zero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zero lands a front kick.
Kidd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zero moves away.
Zero scores with the left hand. Kidd knows he should have avoided that one.
Zero thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kidd if he has to take too many more of those.
Zero feints and then cracks Kidd's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kidd down.
Zero keeps Kidd at a distance using the push kick.
Zero takes the fight into the clinch.
Zero holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Kidd is breathing heavily.
Zero lands a nice knee to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zero using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Zero has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kidd clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Zero is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Kidd won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Zero off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sub Zero!
