Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gibson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Walk. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Daley!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson looks for the body kick but Daley saw that one coming.
Nice takedown defense from Daley. No joy for Gibson on that attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daley wants to stand but Gibson is controlling his arm.

Daley stands up and beckons Gibson to his feet.
Daley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gibson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Gibson counters with a two punch combo.

and Daley counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Daley wants to clinch but Gibson slips to the side

and Gibson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Daley wants to stand and escape but Gibson is having none of it.
Gibson trying to control but Daley is working from the bottom.
Frederick Gibson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gibson won't allow Daley to get back to his feet.

Daley keeping moving, preventing Gibson from controlling successfully.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Daley wriggles free and stands up.

and Gibson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gibson.
Gibson won't allow Daley to get back to his feet.
Gibson wants to pass the guard but Daley is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frederick Gibson dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Daley counters with a single leg into guard. Gibson didn't expect that.
Gibson has a closed guard, preventing Daley from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daley is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Gibson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gibson is trying to keep Daley in close.

Daley wants to stand but Gibson is controlling his posture from full guard.

Daley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gibson pushes down on Daley's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Daley is looking to escape.
Daley is looking to get back to is feet but Gibson passes into side control.

Gibson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Daley to his feet.

Gibson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gibson manages to end up in side control.
Daley tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
You get the feeling that Daley really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Dan Daley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Daley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
