Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Craig Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Possible (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Possible avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Penn fails with a takedown attempt.
Penn shoots in for a takedown but Possible shows good takedown defense.
Possible fails with the takedown

and Penn counters with a shoot takedown. Possible fights it but they end up in guard.
Possible is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Penn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Penn thows a big elbow that misses.

Penn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Possible has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Penn has managed to get both his arms back between Possible's legs - danger averted.

Possible had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Penn defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Possible wants to sweep but no luck.

Penn looking to pass the guard.

Possible looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Penn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Possible is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Penn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Possible's guard.
Possible is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Possible looks gassed!

Penn is working for a kimura but Possible is defending it quite comfortably.

Penn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Possible is just riding it out for now. Penn eventually gives up the hold.

Possible wants to get back to full guard.
Penn trying to mount his opponent but Possible defends it.
Possible tries to roll over but Penn keeps him under control.
Penn passes the guard and advances to mount!

Penn swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Possible is now in Penn's guard. A big mistake from Penn there, giving up the dominant position!
Possible wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving.

Penn looking for a guillotine here but Possible defends easily.

Penn looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Possible is defending well. Penn quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Possible has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Penn celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
