Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonie Carrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Reeves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Set to Fail - Lamb of God. Jacob Reeves is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Reeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tonie Carrol!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrol lands a nice hook to Reeves's body. Reeves takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Reeves throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carrol takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jacob Reeves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reeves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Reeves uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carrol.
Reeves works Carrol's body with a nice hook.
Carrol throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reeves sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Carrol throws a hook but Reeves blocks it.
Reeves tries to bum rush Carrol with a series of wild strikes but Carrol uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Carrol misses with a body shot.
Reeves scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nice shot lands for Reeves.
Carrol lands a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reeves connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Carrol's hands.
Carrol misses with a looping right.
Reeves swinging wildly here.
Carrol lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reeves at a distance.
Reeves tests Carrol's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Reeves is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


It looks like Jacob Reeves has been cut.

Carrol uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Reeves.
Carrol bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Reeves's head backwards.
Carrol walks into a straight right hand from Reeves.
Reeves uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carrol.
Carrol swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Reeves counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Reeves swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Reeves ducks under a wild hook from Carrol.

The fighters circling - Carrol throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Reeves misses with a few strikes there.

Reeves jabs Carrol right on the nose. Carrol blinks but takes it well.

Reeves connects with a body shot that sends Carrol's belly button to the back.
Reeves lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Tonie Carrol has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carrol throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Reeves counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Reeves moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Reeves lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carrol circles away quickly and effectively.

No joy there for Reeves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carrol will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reeves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carrol moves away.
Carrol takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Reeves goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Reeves is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Reeves stuns Carrol with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Reeves throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fighters circling - Carrol throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Reeves takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Reeves moves out of range of the strikes.
Reeves misses with a few strikes there.
Reeves scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Carrol takes one to the side of the head.
Carrol gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Reeves with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Reeves slips a straight right by Carrol.
Reeves shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Carrol eats them both and turns towards Reeves to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Carrol walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Reeves throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carrol on the side of the head.
Reeves works the jab nicely.
A jab from Reeves does it's job there.
Reeves connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nice cross by Reeves.
Reeves lands with a hook. Carrol tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Reeves cracks Carrol with a good jab.

Reeves connects with a looping right hand.
Carrol takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.


That has opened up Tonie Carrol's cut even more.
Carrol walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Carrol takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Reeves stalks Carrol and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carrol's face. Carrol staggers backwards, shaken.
Reeves stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.


The cut above Tonie Carrol's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Reeves fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reeves connects with the punch.
Carrol takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Carrol takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Reeves stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Reeves is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Reeves ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Carrol takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Carrol walks into a jab.
Reeves catches Carrol with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


Tonie Carrol's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Reeves cracks Carrol with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Reeves throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Carrol to counter with a crisp jab.
Reeves throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carrol on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacob Reeves dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Reeves lands with an uppercut that bounces Carrol off the cage and back into rage.
Reeves throws a lazy right hand but Carrol sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Carrol has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Carrol connects with a body shot.
Reeves swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Reeves connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Carrol momentarily.
Some wild striking there from Carrol.
Carrol slips a jab and a cross from Reeves.
Reeves misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Reeves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reeves is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carrol.
Reeves lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Reeves.
Reeves lands an overhand right.
Reeves lands a jab to the nose.
Carrol lands with a shot to the body.
Reeves lands a head shot.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Reeves here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Carrol is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A bone on bone clash there as Reeves blocks the leg kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Reeves!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tonie Carrol's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
