Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2-Pac-Breathin'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Bronson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinton Evans! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bronson. Bronson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Quinton Evans has been cut. Bronson tries to clinch but Evans moves out of range. Bronson moves into the clinch. Bronson lands a hook that snaps the head of Evans backwards. Bronson lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Bronson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bronson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bronson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Evans! Bronson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Evans is looking to escape. That's one minute gone in the round. Evans defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bronson. Evans wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bronson.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bronson thowing shots but they're missing. Bronson punching from mount but Evans doing a good job of avoiding damage. Evans is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bronson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Evans is now in Bronson's guard. A big mistake from Bronson there, giving up the dominant position! Evans won't allow Bronson to sweep him here. Bronson is looking for a triangle but Evans pushes his legs off easily.
Evans drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bronson dives on top into guard. Bronson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Evans looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Evans looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Evans!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bronson is trying to control Evans's posture but Evans avoids it. Evans swings around for an armbar but Bronson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Evans's guard. Bronson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bronson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Evans manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bronson has Evans in his guard. Bronson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans is squirming around, avoiding Bronson's attempts to control the action. Evans is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Evans tries to hold on but Bronson postures up. Bronson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bronson punching from mount but Evans doing a good job of avoiding damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Bronson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Quinton Evans's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bronson blocks a leg kick. Evans throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bronson throws a hook to the side of Evans's head but Evans sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Evans misses with a low kick. Evans wants to clinch but Bronson slips to the side and Bronson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Evans closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bronson quickly recovers to half guard. Bronson is refusing to be controlled, as Evans sits in half guard. Evans is working for a kimura but Bronson is defending it quite comfortably.

That's one minute gone in the round. Evans trying to control from half guard but Bronson is working away. Evans seems to be working for a kimura but Bronson defends the submission attempt. Evans is breathing heavily. Bronson won't allow Evans to pass to mount. Bronson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bronson moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans advances position into side control! Bronson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bronson is defending against the submission attempts here by Evans.

Bronson pushes Evans off and gets back to his feet.

Evans throws out a loose jab but Bronson uses good head movement to avoid it. Evans circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bronson wants to clinch. Bronson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Evans paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bronson closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bronson lands a shoulder strike. Bronson gets through Evans's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bronson manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bronson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bronson lands with an uppercut that bounces Evans off the cage and back into rage. Bronson darts in and clinches Evans up against the cage. Bronson scores with a nice hook to the head. Bronson breaks the clinch.
Evans throws a looping overhand right but Bronson ducks down to avoid it. Evans throws a leg kick and Bronson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Evans's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Evans working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bronson. Evans wants to stand and escape but Bronson is having none of it. Bronson trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bronson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Evans's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Charlie Bronson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bronson tries to free his leg and advance position but Evans is retaining full guard. Bronson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Evans manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Bronson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Evans! Evans trying desperately to get to his feet.

Quinton Evans has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bronson landing strikes from the mount. Bronson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Evans turns into him and now he's in Bronson's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Evans trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charlie Bronson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bronson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
