Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cornelius Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jacobs ducks under a wild hook from Advantage.
Advantage checks a leg kick nicely.
Advantage wants to land a leg kick but Jacobs is out of range.
Jacobs closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Advantage quickly recovers to half guard.
Jacobs scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Advantage wants to get back to full guard but Jacobs has passed into side control.
Jacobs scoring with strikes but Advantage is staying in there.
It looks like Reach Advantage has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacobs looking to control but Advantage is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jacobs throwing strikes but Advantage recovers to half guard. A much better position.
Advantage is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jacobs's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jacobs's back!

Advantage is trying to stick to Jacobs's back but Jacobs is turning into Advantage. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Advantage's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jacobs.
Advantage lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jacobs!
Advantage pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jacobs really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Advantage looking to control but Jacobs is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Advantage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jacobs is looking to get to half guard.
Jacobs wants to control but Advantage is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jacobs tries to improve his position but Advantage has taken his back! Advantage has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Jacobs tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Advantage pushes Jacobs away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
