Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Malurky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Egans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malurky comes into the arena with I'm On a Boat blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Malurky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Egans was well out of range. Poor timing from Malurky.
Egans tries to bum rush Malurky with a series of wild strikes but Malurky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Egans closes the distance and clinches.
Egans pulls guard successfully.
Egans keeping moving, preventing Malurky from controlling successfully.
Malurky has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Malurky avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Malurky throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Egans works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
