The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGirk lunges at Boom with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boom's hand.
Boom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McGirk cracks Boom with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McGirk throws the left hand but Boom avoids the punch easily.
McGirk moves in looking to clinch but Boom pushes him off.
McGirk misses with a looping left.
Decent striking displayed by McGirk there.
McGirk throws a hook but Boom avoids it easily.

Boom is rocked!
Boom switches off momentarily and McGirk cracks him with a monster right hand! Boom topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as McGirk dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by McGirk!
