Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ference Gabor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Alcano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Vendetta. Alcano has chosen Three Stars & A Sun as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jose Alcano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcano tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gabor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gabor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Alcano tries to get to full guard but Gabor has control of the leg.
Gabor is looking to take a break and control but Alcano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gabor wants to advance to full mount but Alcano doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gabor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alcano is on top in guard.

Alcano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gabor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Alcano postures up in Gabor's guard and throws a big left but Gabor blocks it.
Alcano is looking to work some ground and pound but Gabor has wrist control.
Gabor has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Alcano off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alcano wants to clinch up but Gabor keeps it at a distance.
Gabor throws a leg kick but Alcano sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Gabor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alcano avoids it really well and circles away.

Gabor attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Alcano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gabor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jose Alcano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alcano throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gabor.
Gabor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Alcano postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gabor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Alcano, into his guard.
Gabor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Alcano is trying to control the position but Gabor postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Gabor is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Alcano is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
