Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thunder Lightning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elan Tedroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thunder Lightning! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elan Tedroni! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tedroni throws a combination. Lightning tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tedroni fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lightning checks it well. A head kick misses from Lightning. Tedroni feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lightning keeping full guard, as Tedroni tries to pass. Tedroni sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lightning's guard. Lightning knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tedroni on the ground. Tedroni is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Tedroni is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lightning is just riding it out for now. Tedroni eventually gives up the hold. Tedroni looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lightning is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Tedroni is going to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tedroni trying to control the action but Lightning is working from the bottom. Tedroni is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Lightning has managed to free his arm - good work. Lightning trying to control from the bottom.
Lightning looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Tedroni looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tedroni wants to take a breather but Lightning is having none of it. Tedroni looks gassed!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lightning tries to clinch but Tedroni is having none of it. Lightning really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lightning throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lightning gets a clinch. Lightning has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tedroni clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Lightning gets his hands free as Tedroni looks to control. Lightning will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tedroni wants to escape the position.
Lightning throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Tedroni!
Lightning tries to keep control of the position but Tedroni is staying busy. Lightning lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Tedroni hold on?!
Tedroni turns into Lightning and is now in his guard.
Tedroni scoring with punches to the head and body. Lightning escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tedroni gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tedroni trying to control but Lightning is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tedroni is working Lightning over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Lightning is working an open guard so Tedroni takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tedroni is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lightning is keeping busy. Lightning leaning his opponent against the cage. Tedroni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lightning fails in his attempt to clinch. Lightning shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tedroni counters with a single leg into guard. Lightning didn't expect that. Lightning seems keen to control Tedroni's posture. Tedroni wants to control from the top but Lightning keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lightning is looking to stand up but Tedroni isn't so interested in that idea. Lightning is striking from the bottom but Tedroni uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Lightning looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Tedroni is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lightning defends it well. Lightning tries to get to full guard but Tedroni has control of the leg. Tedroni winds up and cracks Lightning with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tedroni is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Lightning has managed to free his arm - good work. Tedroni is looking for a kimura here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elan Tedroni dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tedroni misses with a double jab.
Lightning throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tedroni. Tedroni circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tedroni feints and as Lightning raises his hands in defense, Tedroni changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tedroni wants to control from the top but Lightning keeps moving. Tedroni passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tedroni thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tedroni misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Tedroni is breathing heavily. Lightning tries to bench press Tedroni off him but Tedroni keeps the position. Lightning struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tedroni tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The strikes coming from Tedroni are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Tedroni wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lightning keeps working. Tedroni is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lightning is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lightning is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Tedroni tries for a kimura but Lightning is defending well. Tedroni working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tedroni wants to control but Lightning is keeping him busy. Tedroni has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lightning is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tedroni yanks on the arm and Lightning is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tedroni.
