And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Claymore!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruso ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Claymore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Claymore lands a jab to the head.


It looks like Thomas Bruso has been cut.
Claymore lands with a nice body punch.
Bruso lands with a straight right. Claymore didn't see that one coming.
Bruso looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Bruso needs to keep his hands up - Claymore had a free shot at his head there.
Bruso bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bruso tries to clinch but Claymore moves out of range.
Bruso looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Claymore throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bruso sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Claymore throws a hook to the side of Bruso's head but Bruso sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Claymore connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bruso. Bruso circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Claymore throws a big shot that misses.
Claymore throws a looping overhand right but Bruso ducks down to avoid it.
Claymore throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Claymore waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bruso.
Claymore throws out a loose jab but Bruso uses good head movement to avoid it.
Claymore swings for the body but Bruso moves out of range.
Bruso fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bruso staying out of range there.
Claymore lands with a right hand.
Claymore takes a swing at Bruso's ribcage but misses.
Bruso cracks the inside of Claymore's front leg.
Claymore scoring well with a low kick there.
Claymore looks to score with a jab to the body but Bruso is just out of range.
Bruso walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Claymore checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Andy Claymore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Claymore uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bruso has time to react.
Bruso finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bruso has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Claymore.
Claymore swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bruso.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bruso keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bruso needs to keep his hands up - Claymore had a free shot at his head there.
Claymore stalks Bruso and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bruso's face. Bruso staggers backwards, shaken.

Claymore misses with an uppercut.
Claymore looks to throw the jab but Bruso is out of range.
Bruso lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Claymore connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Claymore scores with a punch to the head.
Claymore scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Bruso 's head but he takes it in his stride.


Thomas Bruso's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bruso avoids the body shot from Claymore.

Claymore throws a good cross that connects.
Bruso throws a low kick but it's checked well by Claymore.
Bruso throws a head kick that misses.
Claymore misses with a looping left.
Claymore lands with a nice body punch.
Nice body kick from Claymore.
Bruso is breathing heavily.
Claymore fails to land with a series of punches.
Claymore scores with a kick to the body.
Claymore keeps Bruso at a distance using the push kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Claymore misses with a head kick.
Claymore fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A nice combination there by Claymore.
Claymore paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


Jeez, Thomas Bruso's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thomas Bruso's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
