Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate MacRally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snap Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacRally comes into the arena with Sick Puppies - You're Going Down blaring out of the sound system. Davis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bottoms Up by Trey Songz f. Nicki Minaj. Nate MacRally has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacRally's corner calls for a 1-2. MacRally obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
MacRally throws a right and a left that both miss.
Davis tries to clinch but MacRally is having none of it.
Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but MacRally circles away quickly and effectively.
Davis tries to clinch up but MacRally circles away and keeps his distance.

MacRally shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Davis napping and manages to drive through into side control!
MacRally lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Davis tries to buck MacRally off but MacRally is having none of it.
MacRally is looking to take a break and control but Davis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

MacRally has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
MacRally pulls Davis in close to his closed guard and prevents Davis from doing any damage or advancing position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now MacRally is on top in guard.

MacRally's corner is telling him to maintain position.
MacRally chips away with some ground and pound.
MacRally distracts Davis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MacRally defends it easily.

Davis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

MacRally throws a big right hand that misses.

MacRally wants to pass the guard but Davis is keeping the position.
MacRally has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Davis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Davis shoots in looking for a takedown. MacRally tries to sprawl out of it but Davis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. MacRally manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

MacRally closes the distance and clinches.
Davis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but MacRally gets the underhooks and prevents it.
MacRally blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Davis trying to stall but MacRally improves his position.
Davis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. MacRally just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nate MacRally has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snap Davis.

Davis looks like he's trying to stand up.

MacRally winds up and cracks Davis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
MacRally throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
MacRally is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Davis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Davis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but MacRally pulls his head out easily.
MacRally working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Davis wants to clinch but MacRally slips to the side

and MacRally decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Davis's guard.

MacRally got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, MacRally has managed to get both his arms back between Davis's legs - danger averted.

Davis looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! MacRally has picked Davis up and slammed him! Davis can't keep hold of the triangle and MacRally manages to pass to side control!
Davis is looking to regain half guard here but MacRally keeps moving and retains side control.

Davis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

MacRally tries to roll but Davis sticks to his back.

Davis pushes MacRally off and gets back to his feet.

MacRally jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Davis misses with a few strikes there.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and MacRally counters with a series of strikes. Davis will be more careful next time no doubt.

Snap Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
MacRally misses with a few strikes there.

MacRally closes the distance and lands a one-two.
MacRally on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Davis. Davis obviously looking to wear him down.
Davis seems to have recovered his senses.
MacRally lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
MacRally moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
MacRally scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

and MacRally counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Davis's guard now.

Snap Davis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

MacRally wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
