Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Babe Ruth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babe Ruth will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Bader! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Babe Ruth! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bader doesn't manage to clinch there - Ruth circles away.
Ruth wants to clinch and Bader counters with a takedown into side control. Bader stands up and we're back to a striking position. Ruth fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ruth shoots and misses and Bader moves into the clinch. Bader goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ruth prevents it.

Bader prevents Ruth from breaking the clinch. Bader using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ruth has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ruth wants to break free but Bader has control.

Ruth manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bader trying to control but Ruth is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruth is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Ruth is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bader is looking for a sweep. Ruth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are battling for position here. Bader manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ruth gets to his feet. Bader looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ruth doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bader counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ruth thinking. Taylor Bader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Babe Ruth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Bader, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ruth fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ruth looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bader is breathing heavily. Ruth controlling the pace. Ruth wants to pass to mount but Bader is defending the position. Ruth is thwarting Bader's attempts to control the position. Bader slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bader is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruth pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bader is keeping the position for now. Ruth wants to control from the top but Bader keeps moving. Bader not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Ruth avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bader tries to keep at a distance but Ruth has taken the fight into the clinch. Bader could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bader is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ruth is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bader to the mat. Bader regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Ruth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bader throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Ruth distracts Bader with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bader has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ruth seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bader is looking for a triangle but Ruth pushes his legs off easily.
Bader is looking to stand up but Ruth isn't so interested in that idea. Bader keeping moving, preventing Ruth from controlling successfully. Ruth prevents Bader from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Babe Ruth will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bader throws a one two combo.
Ruth is rocked! Ruth seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Bader shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Ruth is backing up but Bader catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Ruth covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Bader Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taylor Bader!
