Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Needadis Shepard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uzi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. How to: Open Cans kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepard throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Terry Uzi has been cut.
Shepard tries to clinch but Uzi moves out of range.
Shepard wants to clinch.
Shepard doesn't manage to clinch there - Uzi circles away.
Shepard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uzi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Needadis Shepard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shepard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Uzi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shepard - the referee stops the clock and Uzi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shepard. Uzi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Uzi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shepard looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shepard looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Shepard!

Shepard wants to stand up but Uzi is controlling the position.
Shepard tries to stand and escape but Uzi actually recovers to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Shepard gets to his feet. Uzi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Uzi shoots for a double leg takedown but Shepard sprawls well. He's pushed Uzi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shepard tries to work over Uzi's front leg with a kick but Uzi checks it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Needadis Shepard will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Needadis Shepard.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shepard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
