Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Stryker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stryker comes to the cage accompanied by Die Motherfucker Die. Charles Stryker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joe Jordan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A clash of legs there as Stryker blocks the low kick.
Stryker avoids the body shot from Jordan.
Jordan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jordan tries a head kick but it misses.
Jordan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stryker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jordan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stryker trying to control but Jordan is working from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jordan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stryker was well out of range. Poor timing from Jordan.
Stryker misses with a wild body shot.
Jordan wants to land a leg kick but Stryker is out of range.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stryker.
Stryker looks to score with a jab to the body but Jordan is just out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stryker. Jordan does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Stryker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jordan throws a big shot that misses.
Some wild striking there from Jordan.
Joe Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Stryker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jordan throws a shot from downtown. Stryker moves away and avoids it.
Jordan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jordan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jordan punishes Stryker's body with a nice straight punch.
Jordan misses with the combination.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jordan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Jordan dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Jordan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stryker momentarily.
Stryker throws a leg kick but Jordan checks it.
Stryker loads up on a big right hand but Jordan slips the punch.
Jordan throws a combination that misses
and Stryker counters with a head kick. That will keep Jordan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Jordan throws a hook to the side of Stryker's head but Stryker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jordan dips to his left and cracks Stryker with an uppercut!
Stryker walks into a stiff left hand from Jordan.

and Stryker counters with a nice uppercut.

and Jordan counters with a nice leg kick.

Stryker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jordan.
Jordan lands with a shot to the body.

Jordan throws a body punch but Stryker moves out of range.
Joe Jordan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jordan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jordan tries to land a leg kick but Stryker saw it coming and moves away.
Jordan connects with a solid leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jordan is looking to slow Stryker down with leg kicks.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Jordan lands a jab to Stryker's midsection.
Joe Jordan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jordan lands a big right hand that sends Stryker crashing to the mat! Jordan stays standing though and waves Stryker back to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Jordan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Jordan swings away with a body shot that misses
and Stryker counters with a three punch combo that has Jordan backing up. Jordan nods at Stryker to acknowledge the strikes.

Stryker is rocked!
Jordan misses with the combination.
Oh Stryker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stryker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Stryker seems to have got his legs back now.
Jordan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Some wild striking there from Jordan.

Jordan lands with an overhand left.
Stryker checks the leg kick.
Jordan throws a body punch but Stryker moves out of range.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Jordan has cracked Stryker with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Jordan lands another huge swinging hook and Stryker tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Stryker, before Jordan can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joe Jordan!
