Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sidney Wonder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wonder comes to the cage accompanied by Unforgiven 3. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wonder scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Wonder is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wonder slips a nice elbow through Jacobs's hands, connecting with Jacobs's forehead.
Jacobs is trying to get back to full guard.

Wonder is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jacobs is just riding it out for now. Wonder eventually gives up the hold.
Wonder content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jacobs defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wonder.
Wonder looking to control but Jacobs is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Wonder looking to secure an arm triangle but Jacobs defends it well.

Wonder with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Wonder is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jacobs has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jacobs!

Jacobs gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Jacobs tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wonder paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jacobs takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wonder cracks Jacobs with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jacobs tries to clinch up but Wonder circles away and keeps his distance.
Jon Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wonder shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wonder was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Wonder swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jacobs is now in Wonder's guard. A big mistake from Wonder there, giving up the dominant position!

Jacobs misses with a few strikes there.
Jacobs has his takedown stuffed

and Wonder counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jacobs!

Wonder has hold of Jacobs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jacobs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Wonder is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jacobs can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Wonder looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Poor strikes thrown by Wonder there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Wonder wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Wonder prevents Jacobs from getting the reversal.
Wonder pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Wonder goes for an armbar but Jacobs turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jacobs.
Jacobs trying to control but Wonder is working from the bottom.
Jacobs is breathing heavily.

Jacobs slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jacobs wants to control from the top but Wonder keeps moving.
Jacobs won't allow Wonder to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jacobs trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wonder's guard.
Wonder pulls Jacobs in close to his closed guard and prevents Jacobs from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sidney Wonder dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Jacobs misses with a double jab
and Wonder counters with a straight right hand.
Jacobs misses with a few strikes there.
Wonder scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jacobs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Some wild striking there from Jacobs.
Jacobs throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wonder connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jacobs wants to clinch but Wonder slips to the side

and Wonder decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jacobs's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wonder wants to control from the top but Jacobs keeps moving.

Wonder drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wonder jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jacobs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wonder advances to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wonder has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jacobs is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Wonder is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jacobs is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jacobs flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wonder anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jacobs and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wonder slips an arm under Jacobs chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wonder has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wonder is squeezing on Jacobs like an anaconda would it's prey. Jacobs fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sidney Wonder!
