The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sane misses with a wild body shot.
A combination from Fitzwell does no damage.
Sane thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sane just misses with a punch to the body.
Sane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

It looks like Richard Fitzwell has been cut.

Sane misses with a wild body shot.
Fitzwell looks to land a right hand but Sane moved out of range.
Fitzwell closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sane did well to prevent Fitzwell getting side control.
Sane wants to get back to his feet.
Sane wants to improve his position but Fitzwell is controlling well.
Fitzwell stops Sane from getting back to his feet.
Fitzwell thows a huge punch but Sane dodges it nicely.
Fitzwell winds up and cracks Sane with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Sane misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Sane tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sane wants to improve his position but Fitzwell is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fitzwell winds up and cracks Sane with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Sane is looking for a sweep. Fitzwell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sane on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Sane is looking to get back to is feet but Fitzwell passes into side control.
Sane takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Fitzwell scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sane to see if he's OK.
Fitzwell looks up at the clock and then as Sane takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fitzwell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fitzwell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sane down.
Sane is rocked!
A big shot lands for Fitzwell! That's hurt Sane! Will he recover? Fitzwell fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard Fitzwell!
