Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naja Shankara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wuzz comes into the arena with Lützenkirchen - German Kiss blaring out of the sound system. Shankara has chosen Pow! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Wuzz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Naja Shankara! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wuzz gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Shankara's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shankara tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wuzz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wuzz has knee on belly and moves into mount. Wuzz looking for a guillotine from mount but Shankara is having none of it. Wuzz throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Wuzz throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Wuzz throwing strikes but Shankara uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Wuzz throwing shots but Shankara is blocking nicely. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wuzz lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wuzz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Wuzz wants to pass to mount but Shankara is defending the position. Wuzz working over Shankara with some ground and pound. Shankara looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wuzz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Wuzz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Shankara really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wuzz. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wuzz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shankara's head. Shankara is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wuzz wants to pass to mount but Shankara is defending the position. Wuzz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shankara doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wuzz. Wuzz seems to be looking for submissions.

Shankara takes a swing at Wuzz's ribcage but misses. Wuzz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wuzz showed some decent athleticism there. Wuzz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wuzz seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Shankara is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
