Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Johnson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMannus closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. McMannus pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Johnson swings for the body but McMannus moves out of range.

McMannus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. McMannus throws a low kick but it's checked well by Johnson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McMannus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. McMannus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Timmy McMannus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson scores with a one two! McMannus had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McMannus moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McMannus looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well. McMannus fails to land the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. John Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McMannus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McMannus shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. McMannus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McMannus somewhat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McMannus tries to clinch up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Johnson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McMannus on the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McMannus looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMannus decides to stand up. McMannus misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McMannus takes one on the chin but seems OK.
John Johnson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

"I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily. Johnson throws a series of punches but McMannus moves out of range. Johnson scores with a punch to the head. A cross from Johnson lands.

That's going to take a lot out of him. McMannus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but McMannus persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McMannus wants to work for an arm triangle but Johnson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McMannus looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as McMannus sits in half guard. McMannus wants to pass the guard but Johnson is defending well. Timmy McMannus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McMannus lands with a punch from half guard. McMannus is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Timmy McMannus showed his dominance in that final round. I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
