Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boog Luger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jayceon taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). taylor has chosen how we do as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
taylor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Luger as he jumps to the side.
Luger moves into the clinch successfully.
Luger decides to pull guard.
taylor looking to pass the guard.
taylor with a flurry of punches that miss.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Luger holds on and takes a little breather.
taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Luger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
taylor has gone for a leg lock! Luger slips out almost immediately though and dives into taylor's guard.
taylor controls Luger momentarily but Luger frees himself.

Luger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

taylor pushes Luger away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Luger gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Luger tries to move to mount but taylor blocks the move with his legs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

taylor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Luger has him pressed against the cage.

Luger stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Luger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Luger dodges the punch combination from taylor.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Luger looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Luger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
taylor is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Luger's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Luger's back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Luger manages to reverse the position and now he's in taylor's guard. Nice work there by Luger.
Luger tries to free his leg and advance position but taylor is retaining full guard.
taylor pushes Luger off and gets back to his feet.
jayceon taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Luger counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Boog Luger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jayceon taylor.

Luger lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Luger has closed the distance and engaged taylor in a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Luger creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
taylor is pressed up against the cage. Luger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag taylor down to the mat. taylor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Well Luger has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
