Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yama Arashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yama Arashi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jamal Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hernandez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hernandez wants it to stay on the feet. Hernandez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hernandez showed some decent athleticism there. Hernandez trying to pass the guard but Arashi defending well. Arashi wants to improve his position but Hernandez is controlling well.
Hernandez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hernandez is looking to take a break and control but Arashi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Arashi wants to improve his position but Hernandez is controlling well.
Arashi is trying to maintain the position but Hernandez is very close to passing his half guard. Arashi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hernandez pulls his head out easily. Arashi is refusing to be controlled, as Hernandez sits in half guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hernandez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hernandez showed some decent athleticism there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hernandez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Arashi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Arashi. Arashi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hernandez has picked Arashi up and slammed him! Arashi can't keep hold of the triangle and Hernandez manages to pass to side control! Hernandez trying to control the position but Arashi is working away. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Arashi grinds an elbow into Hernandez's temple. Arashi lands a nice forearm strike. Hernandez struggling a bit here. Arashi throws a strike aimed at the side of Hernandez's head but Hernandez avoids it well. Arashi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Arashi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Arashi working over Hernandez with some ground and pound. Hernandez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arashi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hernandez is breathing heavily. Hernandez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Arashi is working away from the top position though. Arashi scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Arashi is thwarting Hernandez's attempts to control the position. Arashi wants to control but Hernandez is keeping him busy. Hernandez tries to roll over but Arashi keeps him under control. The fighters are battling for position here. Hernandez manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Arashi wants to control from the top but Hernandez keeps moving. Yama Arashi dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
