Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ashton Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hans Klein!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein is looking to clinch.
Klein is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kane.
It looks like Hans Klein has been cut.
Klein tries to clinch but Kane is having none of it.
Kane lands a left and a right that send Klein crashing to the mat, dazed. Kane thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kane fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Klein looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Klein circles away.
Kane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Klein tries to avoid it but Kane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Klein to the ground. Klein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Some wild striking there from Kane.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kane drops Klein with a beautiful combination! Klein stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kane is looking for the KO!
Klein is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kane lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Klein at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kane lands with a big right hook that stumbles Klein - he's out on his feet here! Kane follows up with another monster hook that separates Klein from consciousness! Klein falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kane stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ashton Kane!
