Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between J G (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Happy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, J G! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Happy! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! G takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. G slips a jab and a cross from Happy.
Nice sprawl there from Happy as G shoots in. G slips a straight right by Happy. G loads up on a big right hand but Happy slips the punch. No luck for G with that takedown attempt. G throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
G drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. G creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Happy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Happy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, G asserts his dominance and retains side control. G tries to advance to mount but Happy instead regains half guard. G is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Happy pushes G off looking to stand but G dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. G is keen to just control but Happy is a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No joy there for Happy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Happy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt G. J G seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. G shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Happy as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for J G. That's going to take a lot out of him. G thows a body shot but no joy. Happy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Happy connects with a high kick.
G is rocked! Happy throws an overhand right that drops G like a sack of potatoes! Happy dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
