Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Durdan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Garcia! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durdan leaves Garcia with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Durdan misses with a straight left. Durdan misses with an uppercut. Garcia saw that one coming. Durdan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Durdan showed some decent athleticism there. Garcia won't allow Durdan to pass to mount. Durdan slows the pace down in half guard. Durdan is working for an americana but Garcia has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Durdan was thinking about the submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durdan advances to half guard. Durdan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Durdan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garcia keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Durdan is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Garcia as he works his way to full guard.
Durdan has gone for a leg lock! Garcia slips out almost immediately though and dives into Durdan's guard. Durdan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Garcia advances to half guard. Durdan looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durdan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Garcia is keen to just control but Durdan is a slippery customer. Garcia with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Durdan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Garcia pulls his head out easily. Durdan wants to control but Garcia is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Garcia passes into side control, despite Durdan's attempt to control the position.
Durdan looks to move to half guard but instead Garcia has passed into mount! Damn! Durdan looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Durdan trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Garcia wants to control but Durdan is keeping busy. Garcia working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Durdan is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Garcia has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Durdan taps out!
