Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yin Tao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yin Tao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Jones!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Jones checks a leg kick.
Tao lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jones at a distance.
Tao tries to score with a low kick but Jones moves his leg out of the way.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Tao moved out of range nicely.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jones. Tao shrugs it off though.
Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jones throws a leg kick which misses Tao's front leg but catches the back leg as Tao tries to avoid it.
Tao is breathing heavily.
Tao misses with a leg kick
and Jones counters with a good, hard body kick but Tao shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Tao takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jones throws a head kick but Tao moves out of range.

Tao on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jones. Jones obviously looking to wear him down.
Jones cracks Tao with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Tao falls to his knees and Jones doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Jones!
