Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smeric Smartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Singson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Smeric Smartman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Allen Singson! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Smartman swats away the attempt to clinch by Singson. Smartman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smartman is defended easily by Singson. Singson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Singson shoots and misses and Smartman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Smartman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Singson sees it coming and defends easily. Smartman is nestled in close to Singson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Singson is trying to maintain the position but Smartman is very close to passing his half guard. Smartman prevents Singson from improving his position. Smartman thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Singson to regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singson has his hands on Smartman's head, controlling the position. Smartman stopping the sweep attempt from Singson. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smartman trying to control but Singson is working from the bottom. Singson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smartman!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Singson looking to secure an arm triangle but Smartman defends it well. Smartman tries to hold on but Singson pushes him away. Smartman tries to reverse the position but Singson maintains control. Smartman avoids a series of strikes thrown by Singson.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smartman blocking the ground and pound. Singson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Smartman wants to hold on but Singson pushes him away. Singson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Smartman tries to reverse the position but Singson maintains control. Smartman is squirming around, avoiding Singson's attempts to control the action. Smartman wants to control but Singson is having none of it. Singson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Singson with good strikes from the mount here! Singson thowing shots but they're missing. Smartman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Singson on the ground. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Singson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Allen Singson will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Smartman shoots in for a double leg but Singson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Singson lands with a slapping head kick. Singson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Allen Singson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Singson wants to clinch and Smartman counters by moving into the clinch. Singson has a couple of punches blocked by Smartman.

Singson works on Smartman's body with a couple of short punches. Singson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Smartman's face as he tries to break the clinch. Singson tries to stall but Smartman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smartman wants to break the clinch but can't.
Smartman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Singson uses from the top position. Singson wants to control from the top but Smartman keeps moving. Singson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Smartman is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smartman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Smartman has Singson pulled in close to control his posture. Smartman wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Singson is now in half guard. Smartman is looking to get back to full guard here but Singson has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Singson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. A nice elbow there by Singson. Singson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Singson avoids the attempt from Smartman to control. Singson landing shots from mount. Smartman tries to lock up and control but Singson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Smartman is bucking up trying to escape but Singson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singson landing shots from mount. Singson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Smartman because Singson loaded up on that one. Smartman is bucking up trying to escape but Singson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Singson postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Smartman bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Singson and the fight is over!
