The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendigo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tostes tries to close the distance and clinch but Mendigo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tostes drives through and clinches with Mendigo against the cage.
Mendigo pulls guard.
Tostes trying to control the position from guard on top but Mendigo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tostes postures up in Mendigo's guard and throws a big left but Mendigo blocks it.
Mendigo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Tostes rolls with it to try and escape but Mendigo cranks on the arm and Tostes is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
