Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Kikkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Vondrachek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kikkeli shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vondrachek pinned against the cage. Vondrachek gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Vondrachek fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kikkeli checks it well. Kikkeli looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Vondrachek thows a body shot but no joy. Vondrachek tries to score with a low kick but Kikkeli moves his leg out of the way. Vondrachek throws a leg kick which misses Kikkeli's front leg but catches the back leg as Kikkeli tries to avoid it. Vondrachek will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vondrachek misses the shot to the body. Vondrachek scores with a hook to the body. Kikkeli takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Vondrachek just misses with a punch to the body.

Vondrachek tries a low kick but Kikkeli avoids it. Vondrachek throws a solid leg kick but Kikkeli takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vondrachek. Kikkeli gets the takedown into side control. Vondrachek prevents Kikkeli from moving into mount. Kikkeli really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kikkeli working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kikkeli goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vondrachek rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kikkeli's guard! Nice work there by Vondrachek! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kikkeli has his foot on Vondrachek's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vondrachek works his way back into a safe position though. Vondrachek scoring with some ground and pound. Vondrachek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kikkeli swivels though and keeps the full guard. Vondrachek lands a couple of decent looking shots.
It looks like Kalle Kikkeli has been cut. Kikkeli keeping moving, preventing Vondrachek from controlling successfully. Kikkeli working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vondrachek doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vondrachek manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kikkeli is breathing heavily. Vondrachek pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vondrachek with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vondrachek preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vondrachek lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vondrachek can't keep his opponent in guard - Kikkeli advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kikkeli is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vondrachek is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
