Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is God Hates a Coward. Alan Bundy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jan David's chin.

16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan David! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David scores to the head and body with a nice combination! David feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bundys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Bundy thows a body shot but no joy. David lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. David punishes Bundy's body with a nice straight punch. Bundy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nice cross by Bundy. Bundy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bundy wants to slow David down by chopping away at his legs. David on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

David trying to control the position from guard on top but Bundy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bundy controls David momentarily but David frees himself. Bundy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for David! Bundy breaks from David's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. David is defending against the submission attempts here by Bundy.

David is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bundy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but David manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bundy has David in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bundy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. David is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. David won't allow Bundy to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bundy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Alan Bundy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. David gets back to full guard.

Bundy slips under a jab from David. Bundy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bundy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and David has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from David and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A low kick from Bundy misses and David counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A left lands for David. Bundy scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bundy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says David as he avoids it easily.

David throws a looping overhand right but Bundy ducks down to avoid it. Bundy takes a body punch but keeps moving. David lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Bundy closes the distance but David moves to the side and David counters with a nice body shot. David gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bundy stopping the sweep attempt from David. Bundy thows a big elbow that misses.

Bundy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bundy there as he acknowledges the shot. Bundy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but David moves out of range and avoids them all easily. David catches Bundy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! No joy there for David, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
