Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erico Plaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob has chosen Oh my god... as his entrance music. Big Bob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plaza darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage.
Plaza scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Plaza is trying to maintain a safe position but Bob gets an underhook and turns Plaza into the cage.
Plaza will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bob up against the cage.
Bob is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Plaza pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Plaza takes a swing at Bob's ribcage but misses.
Bob swats away the attempt to clinch by Plaza.
Bob rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Plaza counters with a three punch combo that has Bob backing up. Bob nods at Plaza to acknowledge the strikes.
Plaza lands with a hook. Bob tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bob throws a combination that misses
and Plaza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bob thows a body shot but no joy.
Plaza throws a body punch but Bob moves out of range.
Plaza throws a leg kick which misses Bob's front leg but catches the back leg as Bob tries to avoid it.
Plaza slips a jab and a cross from Bob.
A nice combination there by Plaza.
Plaza misses with a series of wild punches.
Bob throws the left hand but Plaza avoids the punch easily.

That kick from Plaza tenderised Bob's leg. Bob is trying to keep his angry face on.
Plaza lands with a hook. Bob tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bob misses with a hook. Plaza ducked under it nicely.
Bob moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Plaza counters with an outside leg kick.
Bob moves forwards but Plaza connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Plaza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Erico Plaza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Plaza swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bob.
Bob throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Plaza holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Plaza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Plaza connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bob gets tackled into the cage by Plaza. Plaza maintains the clinch.
Bob fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

and Plaza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Plaza is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Bob takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Bob throws a head punch that misses.
Bob seems to have recovered his senses.

Plaza using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bob has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bob is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Plaza is keeping busy.

Plaza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Plaza throws out a powerful jab.
Plaza shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bob eats them both and turns towards Plaza to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Plaza lands with a big left! Bob is wobbled badly! Plaza comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Bob to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Erico Plaza!
