Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Poluga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poluga comes into the arena with My Time Is Now blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.

Poluga throws and elbow that misses. Smith uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Poluga's guard. Nice move by Smith!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poluga has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Poluga's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Elvis Poluga.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Poluga, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
