Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fedor Entrance Song. Sub Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Boom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sub Jones! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Boom scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Boom scores with a nice head shot. Boom lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into rage. Bobby Boom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boom lands the left hand. Boom lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
Boom connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom lands a right hook to the body.
Jones walks into a left hand. Jones shoots for a takedown but Boom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Boom scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one. Boom throws a good cross that connects.
Boom is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boom scores with a nice right hand.
Jones has a takedown stuffed. Boom scores with a takedown into Jones's guard. Jones looks gassed! Jones has momentary wrist control but Boom slips an elbow through the middle. Boom is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Boom avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boom postures up and lands a big shot to Jones's brow. Boom lands a couple of decent looking shots. Boom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boom sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jones's guard. Jones is refusing to be controlled, as Boom sits in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boom works his way into full mount! Boom lands a nice shot to the head. Boom prevents Jones from getting the reversal. Boom cracks Jones with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jones taking shots to the head. Boom is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Boom with the ground and pound from mount. Boom lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Boom scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Boom working Jones over with strikes here. Boom looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. This has been an exciting period of action! Boom is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boom looking to finish Jones with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jones! Boom landing strikes, looking to finish! Boom lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Boom with a couple of short strikes. Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Boom putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Boom has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Boom with the ground and pound from mount. Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Boom is in the full mount, landing strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boom jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jones manages to avoid the submission attempt. Jones is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Boom dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Boom counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Boom moves nicely into side control. Boom landing a few strikes. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jones is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Boom grinds an elbow into Jones's temple. Bobby Boom overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boom wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Boom lands some shots froms side control. Boom cracks Jones with a big elbow. Boom landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to improve position but can't. Boom thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Boom off and has taken his back! Boom tries to escape the position.
Jones is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Boom tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Jones jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Boom is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Boom and Jones has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Boom manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boom makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Boom. Boom is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jones looking for submissions off his back. Boom is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.
Jones actively working from the bottom here. Boom seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Boom. Boom is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Boom scores with a couple of nice shots. Boom passes to side control. Boom has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jones! Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Boom misses with a head shot. Boom working away from the top, dropping strikes. Jones is in all sorts of trouble here.
The referee warns Jones that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Boom sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Jones sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Jones actively working from the bottom here. Jones is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Boom is tapping! Great win for Jones!
