The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Tiririca lands but Mississippi takes it in his stride.

Tiririca throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mississippi's head.

Mississippi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tiririca!
Mississippi working for a submission but Tiririca is keeping him at bay.
Mississippi looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Tiririca really wants to buck Mississippi off and get back to his feet.

Mississippi has hold of Tiririca's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tiririca manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Tiririca wants to control but Mississippi is having none of it.

Mississippi is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Mississippi extends the arm and Tiririca is forced to tap!
