Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fitch tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fitch to the ground. Fitch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fitch gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fitch jumps guard and drags Jackson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jackson tries to bum rush Fitch with a series of wild strikes but Fitch uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Carlos Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson is looking to stand up but Fitch isn't so interested in that idea.

Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fitch's guard.
Fitch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.

Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fitch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jackson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fitch is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fitch has escaped and now he's on top!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jackson holds on and takes a little breather.

Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Fitch get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Bryce Fitch will probably get the nod.

Jackson has an Americana. Fitch didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jackson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jackson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
