Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Imma Tester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atlas MacDowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacDowell has chosen Face The Pain as his entrance music. Imma Tester has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Imma Tester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Atlas MacDowell!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tester pulls out of a head kick attempt.
MacDowell slips a straight right by Tester.
Tester throws a head kick that misses.
MacDowell blocks a leg kick.
MacDowell blocks a head kick by Tester.
Tester throws a sloppy head kick and MacDowell moves out of range easily.

MacDowell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
MacDowell works a leg free and moves into half guard.
MacDowell lands strikes from half guard.
MacDowell is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Tester is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

MacDowell prevents Tester from standing back up.
MacDowell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

MacDowell is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tester defends it well.
MacDowell slips a nice elbow through Tester's hands, connecting with Tester's forehead.

Tester is rocked!

MacDowell working over Tester with some ground and pound. Tester looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Oh Tester is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
MacDowell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

MacDowell is trying to control. Tester wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Tester really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
MacDowell scores with a big shot! Tester's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Tester! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
