Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strangler comes to the cage accompanied by Rise up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Strangler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Fraser! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strangler misses with an uppercut. Fraser saw that one coming. Strangler keeps the fight on the outside. Strangler looks to throw the jab but Fraser is out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Strangler prevents the takedown attempt.
Fraser wants a takedown but no success here.
Fraser on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Fraser drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Strangler gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jimmy Strangler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Fraser. Strangler tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fraser avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strangler stops a takedown attempt from Fraser.
Fraser wants the takedown. Strangler is fighting it off but Fraser persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Strangler's guard against the cage. Fraser landing with the ground and pound. Fraser distracts Strangler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fraser throwing strikes from guard but Strangler blocks nicely. Fraser is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Fraser keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Strangler's head. Strangler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fraser gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Strangler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fraser throws a big right hand that misses. Strangler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fraser is aware though and is defending well. Fraser is working Strangler over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Fraser working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Strangler's head. Fraser throwing strikes but missing. Fraser thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fraser won't allow Strangler to get back to his feet. Fraser is in close to Strangler's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fraser missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fraser with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Fraser landing some decent shots from guard. Fraser drops back looking for a leg! Strangler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Strangler manages to kick Fraser off! Fraser jumps back into Strangler's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fraser looks gassed! Fraser working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fraser has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Strangler preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Strangler trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Strangler striking from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strangler striking off his back but it's not causing Fraser any problems. Fraser is pushing down on Strangler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Strangler is fighting to maintain full guard but Fraser has managed to sneak the leg through. Strangler punching from the bottom.
Fraser looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Strangler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fraser throwing shots but Strangler is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strangler is trying to stand up here but Fraser is controlling him well. Fraser is taking a breather. Strangler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Fraser is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Strangler has managed to free his arm - good work. Fraser throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Strangler moves into full guard.
Fraser postures up and lands a big shot to Strangler's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fraser is looking to work some ground and pound but Strangler has wrist control. Fraser landing some decent shots from guard. Strangler keeping moving, preventing Fraser from controlling successfully. Strangler trying to strike off his back.
Fraser throws a big right hand that misses. Fraser postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Strangler working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fraser.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fraser tries for a takedown but Strangler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Strangler turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Strangler darts in trying to clinch and Fraser counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Strangler's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Fraser dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fraser avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Fraser misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jimmy Strangler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strangler closes the distance and clinches. Fraser avoiding damage as Strangler throws knees to the body.
Strangler misses with an elbow over the top. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Strangler just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fraser's brow. Strangler with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Fraser. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strangler misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fraser.
Fraser is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Strangler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Fraser is trying to drag Strangler to the mat but Strangler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Strangler is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fraser is defending well for now. Fraser looking for a takedown. Strangler misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fraser.

Fraser blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Strangler tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Fraser is looking to control Strangler's arms but Strangler gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fraser has his back to the cage. Strangler prevents a takedown attempt there.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A head punch on the inside from Strangler fails to land. Strangler wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fraser keeps control of Strangler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Fraser drops down looking for an ankle pick but Strangler pulls his leg out and moves away.
A good leg kick by Strangler. Strangler wants to clinch. Strangler throws a series of punches but Fraser avoids them all with ease. Fraser scores a takedown into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fraser is landing with some decent strikes but Strangler is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fraser prevents Strangler from getting the reversal. Fraser looking to finish Strangler with some ground and pound. This is bad for Strangler! Fraser fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fraser goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Strangler is on top in guard.
Fraser looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Strangler is defending well. Fraser quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Strangler has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Fraser celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
