Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mako has chosen Broken Dreams By Shaman's Harvest as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Foster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mako holds on and takes a little breather.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Foster fails to land with a series of punches.
Mako throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Foster stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

George Mako is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mako accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
