Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Beaudrey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keijo Kustavilainen! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kustavilainen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beaudrey as he jumps to the side. Kustavilainen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beaudrey manages to avoid it. Kustavilainen ducks under a wild hook from Beaudrey. Beaudrey misses with a jab to the body
and Kustavilainen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Beaudrey's guard. Beaudrey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kustavilainen can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Beaudrey cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Beaudrey in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beaudrey with the ground and pound from mount. Beaudrey trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kustavilainen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kustavilainen gets back to half guard. Beaudrey is pressing down on Kustavilainen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kustavilainen is holding on for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beaudrey seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kustavilainen is trying to get back to full guard. Beaudrey is trying to work for a kimura but Kustavilainen is defending well.
Kustavilainen wants to get back to his feet. Kustavilainen is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Beaudrey jumps into side control! Kustavilainen tries to escape but Beaudrey is in control. Beaudrey tries to move to mount but Kustavilainen blocks the move with his legs. Beaudrey is putting a hurting on Kustavilainen here, landing some big shots from side control. Kustavilainen is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kustavilainen is not content to let Beaudrey control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kustavilainen is looking for a sweep. Kustavilainen looks gassed! Beaudrey landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Kustavilainen is rocked! Beaudrey scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kustavilainen is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Beaudrey can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
