The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yoshifumi.
Jab from Benson.
Benson is looking to clinch but Yoshifumi is avoiding it.
Benson moves into range and clinches up with Yoshifumi.
Yoshifumi decides to pull guard.
Yoshifumi working a defensive guard here.
Yoshifumi doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Benson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Benson prevents Yoshifumi from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yoshifumi pushes a forearm under Benson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Benson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
