The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonhart shoots for a takedown but Crispe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Crispe looks to land a combination but Leonhart avoids it well.

Crispe works to advance to full mount. Leonhart defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Crispe tries to free his leg and advance position but Leonhart is retaining full guard.
Crispe wants to control from the top but Leonhart keeps moving.
Crispe postures up in Leonhart's guard and throws a big left but Leonhart blocks it.
Crispe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Crispe shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Crispe is stalling here. Leonhart is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Crispe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Leonhart has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Leonhart has hold of Crispe's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Crispe seems comfortable defending it but Leonhart has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Crispe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Crispe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Leonhart couldn't care less - he's delighted!
