Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Vicksone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kraven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kraven's choice of entrance music: Back in Black. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Vicksone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Kraven! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vicksone with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kraven fails with a takedown attempt. Vicksone lands with a kick to the temple. Kraven shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Vicksone tries a head kick but it misses.
Kraven will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Vicksone feints and then cracks Kraven's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kraven down. Vicksone throws a sloppy head kick and Kraven moves out of range easily. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Vicksone. Kraven shrugs it off though. Kraven looks gassed! Kraven misses with a takedown attempt - Vicksone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Danny Vicksone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Kraven. A big head kick from Vicksone and Kraven is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Kraven is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vicksone drops back looking for a leg! Kraven is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kraven manages to kick Vicksone off! Vicksone jumps back into Kraven's guard. Kraven is still in real trouble! Can Vicksone finish him? That's one minute gone in the round. Vicksone throwing strikes from guard but Kraven blocks nicely. Kraven seems to have recovered his senses. Vicksone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vicksone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Vicksone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kraven is keeping the position for now. Vicksone missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Vicksone stands and throws Kraven's legs to the side, diving into side control. Vicksone working away. Kraven stops Vicksone from passing to mount. Vicksone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kraven is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kraven wants to get back to his feet but Vicksone is dominant here and he's now got Kraven's back! Vicksone has control of Kraven's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kraven regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Vicksone won't let Kraven get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Kraven is trying to escape the mount.
Kraven wants to hold on but Vicksone pushes him away. Vicksone goes for an armbar but Kraven turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kraven.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vicksone has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kraven is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vicksone.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kraven lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Vicksone manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Vicksone moves into full guard.
Vicksone wants to sweep but no luck. Vicksone looking for a guillotine here but Kraven defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Vicksone wants to stand up but Kraven is controlling him. Vicksone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kraven's guard. Vicksone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kraven is keeping the position for now. Vicksone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kraven is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kraven has escaped and now he's on top! Vicksone looking for a sweep. Not yet Vicksone, not yet. Vicksone looking for a guillotine here but Kraven defends easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kraven wants to control from the top but Vicksone keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Vicksone dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vicksone looks for the body kick but Kraven saw that one coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Kraven looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vicksone tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kraven counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Vicksone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kraven.
Kraven wants to break free but Vicksone has control.
Kraven is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Vicksone pulls him back up using the underhooks. Vicksone tries to stall but Kraven uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Vicksone using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kraven has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Vicksone pressing his opponent against the cage. Kraven stalls. Vicksone with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vicksone is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vicksone wants to stall.
Kraven blocks an elbow strike from Vicksone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kraven goes for a takedown attempt but Vicksone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Vicksone plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kraven moves out of range of the body kick. Vicksone closes the distance and clinches. Kraven is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Vicksone lands a knee to the body.
Kraven gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Kraven won't allow Vicksone to sweep him here. Kraven is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vicksone has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kraven is looking to defend but Vicksone has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kraven! Vicksone pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kraven taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Danny Vicksone!
