The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries to clinch but Kovlov is having none of it.
Kovlov misses with a takedown attempt - Nogueira sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Nogueira counters by moving into the clinch.
Nogueira pulls guard successfully.
Nogueira is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Nogueira has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kovlov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nogueira has tightened it up now! Kovlov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
