7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Serptentino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Grant! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Grant. Serptentino shoots in but no luck this time. Grant stuffs the takedown attempt from Serptentino. Serptentino gets slowly back to his feet. Grant lands a left and a right that send Serptentino crashing to the mat, dazed. Grant thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Jorge Serptentino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Serptentino looks for a takedown but Grant sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Serptentino. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grant drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Serptentino right on the button. Serptentino goes down! Grant follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Grant gets the win via TKO!
