Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Petrana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrana has chosen Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rocky Holmes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Petrana's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrana shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Holmes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Holmes wants to stand but Petrana is controlling the position.
Holmes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Petrana is aware though and is defending well.
Holmes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Petrana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Petrana is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Petrana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holmes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Holmes dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Petrana feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Petrana slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Holmes has his feet on Petrana's thighs here. He's pushed Petrana off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Petrana screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
