The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Talent tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Mask connects with a solid leg kick. Mask clinches. Nice elbow from Mask.
It looks like Jay Dee The Talent has been cut. A nice glancing elbow lands by Mask. The Talent misses with a hook from the clinch. Mask blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mask tries to stall but The Talent uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mask as The Talent tries to tie him up. The Talent dodges an elbow strike from Mask.
Mask misses with an elbow strike.
Nice elbow from Mask. The Talent avoids a wild elbow strike from Mask. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as The Talent takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Mask looks to throw an elbow but misses. Mask lands an elbow inside.
That has opened up Jay Dee The Talent's cut even more. Mask pushes off an throws an elbow but The Talent leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Mask lands a damaging elbow. Nice body punch from The Talent - that landed with a thud.
Mask creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through The Talent's defenses.
The cut above Jay Dee The Talent's eye is starting to cause him problems now. A frustrated look appears on The Talent's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mask misses with an elbow over the top. Mask manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The Talent wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. The Talent leaning against his opponent.
The Talent avoids a wild elbow strike from Mask.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Talent can't break the clinch.
The Talent tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mask lands an elbow that stopped The Talent in his tracks for a moment. Mask throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Mask lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Jay Dee The Talent's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jay Dee The Talent's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
