Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junior Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier has chosen Mountain Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bittor Xavier has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Junior Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bittor Xavier! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie cracks a nice hook into Xavier's ribs. Xavier thuds his right hand into Gracie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Gracie gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie is pressing down on Xavier's thigh, looking to free his foot. Xavier is holding on for now. Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Xavier is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Xavier stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet. No joy there for Xavier, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gracie takes a swing at Xavier's ribcage but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xavier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily. Gracie is looking to score with low kicks. Gracie wants to clinch up but Xavier keeps it at a distance. Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Xavier.
Xavier swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Xavier's guard. Xavier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gracie stopping the sweep attempt from Xavier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to control from the top but Xavier keeps moving. Xavier working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Xavier is retaining full guard. Xavier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Xavier pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Junior Gracie dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Xavier misses with a straight right. Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Xavier tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Xavier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Xavier goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bittor Xavier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Xavier shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A lazy left from Xavier finds it's target. Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gracie is looking to regain half guard here but Xavier keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xavier looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gracie is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Gracie manages to get to full guard.
Xavier wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie has his foot on Xavier's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Xavier works his way back into a safe position though. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Xavier trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. Gracie has momentary wrist control but Xavier slips an elbow through the middle. Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Xavier is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Xavier manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gracie trying to control but Xavier is working from the bottom. Xavier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gracie defends well. Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Xavier dives on top into guard. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. Xavier stands and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to control but Xavier postures up. Gracie takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Gracie is not content to let Xavier control the position. Xavier is pressing down on Gracie's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gracie is holding on for now. Xavier seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Xavier not landing any meaningful shots this time. Xavier is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bittor Xavier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Xavier shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard. Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Xavier's guard. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Xavier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bittor Xavier has got the better of the ground game so far. Xavier is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Xavier manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Xavier in his guard. Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Xavier!
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier is wriggling around trying to escape.
Xavier takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gracie working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Xavier turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gracie off and cradles Xavier's limp body as Gracie celebrates with his corner.
