PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adimaro Jaeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaeger comes into the arena with Du Hast by Rammstein blaring out of the sound system. Ryan Kline told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaeger throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kline shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jaeger sprawls well. Jaeger wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kline gets slowly back to his feet.
Kline dives in and grabs Jaeger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jaeger pushes down on Kline's head and hops out.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jaeger throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Jaeger with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Jaeger lands an uppercut.

Jaeger breaks the clinch.
Jaeger moves in looking to clinch but Kline pushes him off.
Jaeger tries to clinch up but Kline circles away and keeps his distance.
Kline swats away the attempt to clinch by Jaeger.
Adimaro Jaeger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jaeger has Kline up against the cage in a clinch.
Jaeger is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Jaeger comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Jaeger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Jaeger.
Kline shoots in for a double leg but Jaeger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Adimaro Jaeger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Kline.

Kline shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jaeger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Kline is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jaeger is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jaeger has escaped and now he's on top!

Kline is trying to land a reversal but Jaeger doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle. Jaeger is tightening it up though! This could be trouble for Kline! Kline trying desperately to escape but he's gone limp! He's out! Wooooorld class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Jaeger!
